I am Not Who You Want Me To Be (Performance)
Installation and Performance
2009 Lucas Carrieri Gallery, Berlin
2009 Envoy Gallery, NYC
I am not who you want me to be weaves and tunnels through time, stability, and expectations. Through dance, acting and painting this visceral performance explores the human condition within society: The implicit and tacit demand of society to be something different than what you are, and the request to be someone that you’re not.
In collaboration with Mad Kate (dance) and Nico Lippolis (percussion)
DetailsPerformances are one-of-a-kind, but can be recreated in a similar vein for exhibits and special events. Travel and lodging costs are not included in the performance fees detailed above.
